As a ‘serial entrepreneur’ the opportunity to enter the medical cannabis space six years ago really appealed to me. I don’t know if some part of my brain knew we would evolve so rapidly into legalizing the adult-use cannabis market, but it has given me the opportunity to do the things I love: Building a company from the ground up, developing highly efficient teams, and realizing the vision of a global brand in a highly competitive market.
I am so proud of the team and culture that we have built at HEXO. We have exceptional leaders that are experts in their fields leading teams of diligent, hardworking, and collaborative individuals. I can’t wait to see what we do together next.
We are continuing to push and drive value for our shareholders. HEXO’s vision is to be a top 2 cannabis company in Canada and top 3 internationally. We will execute on this by continuing to bring branded, consistent, quick on-set and quick offset cannabis experiences to market and by investing significantly in research and development.
I am inspired by entrepreneurs, regardless of their industry, product, or goal. I admire those who seize opportunities and fearlessly pursue them. I firmly believe that every single pioneer in any industry worked hard, worked smart and took calculated risks.
Yes, of course! I often find myself using products from our sleep line. I find that they are a great alternative to alcohol and perfect for taking the edge off on a Friday evening.
